Sweepstakes end March 30, 2012 Brought to you by Pro Sports Experience. Nationals in Disney Congratulations to all of our cheer squads who competed over the past week!! All the girls and the families, you all have made this the most successful RVC Nationals showing EVER!!! 9 Squads, 9 top 10 finishes, 2 National Champions!!! Be proud!!! And Next year.....we go for even more! In the record books If advancing 9 Cheer squads to the National stage wasn't enough, we also had 4 teams participate in the largest group cheer EVER!!! 1,284 cheer leaders together doing 1 single cheer for 5 and a half minutes could be the new world record once recognized in the Guiness Book of World Records! Led by 3 professional cheerleaders, the St. Joe's University cheer team, and Mrs. USA(on video) "Cheer Science" was rehearsed and then performed to beat the record that was once set by a group from China. Congrats girls, You world record holders you!!!!

Raritan Valley & Ronald McDonald House Raritan Valley has decided for 2011 we are going to help the Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick, NJ.
What is the Ronald McDonald House?
Many families travel far from home to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children. The treatment may last a day, a month, or even longer. It's a long time to be away from home, or to divide a family. Ronald McDonald Houses around the world offer families a way to stay together, in proximity to the treatment hospital, and be comfortable and cared for during their stay.
We are calling on all participants, parents and coaches to help support this wonderful cause. You can help in a number of ways:
Donate Items- these are items that are needed on a regular basis
-Paper products-tissues, toilet paper, paper towels
-Trash bags
-Aluminum foil, plastic wrap and sandwich bags
-Laundry detergent and fabric softener
-Cleaning products-sponges, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent
-Bath & bedroom items-towels, shower curtains, sheets and pillow cases
-Personal care products-deodorant, dental floss, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner
-Entertainment products-games, movies, books, art supplies
-Long distance gift cards
-Gift cards for local grocery stores and gas stations
-Greeting cards & stamps
-Gift certificates to department stores-Target, Walmart, etc
-Transportation vouchers-buses, taxis, trains
-Passes to museums, cultural and sporting events
Raritan Valley is asking each team to set up collection boxes at practices and every home game to collect the above items. Every month the donated items will be brought to the Raritan Valley Cheer Coord meeting and then delivered to the Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick.
Collect Pop Tabs
Did you know that there is more aluminum in the pop tab of a soda/beer can than there is in the entire can itself? This interesting fact turns an otherwise useless thing into much-needed money for the Ronald McDonald House. The tabs will be collected, the aluminum is weighed by recycling centers and the Ronald McDonald House receives a check based on this recycled material.
